More about Mark Carmichael

Marc Carmichael, JD…
Is president of the R&R Newkirk Company and has specialized for more than 30 years in the field of charitable gift planning. R&R Newkirk publishes the Charitable Giving Tax Service, “The Advisor” charitable estate planning newsletter and “The Federal Tax Pocket Guide for Advisors and Planners.” His company also provides gift planning training and promotional literature for hundreds of organizations. Marc is past president of the National Committee on Planned Giving and has chaired the National Conference on Planned Giving. He has spoken frequently at estate planning councils, national fundraising conferences and the National Conference on Financial Planning. In 2005 Marc was the recipient of the Russell V. Kohr Memorial Award for Excellence in Gift Planning.

Is a principal of Budros, Ruhlin & Roe, Inc., with expertise in income tax planning, general business and succession planning, charitable and retirement planning. He has been a featured speaker at conferences of the Columbus Bar Association, Capital University, the Ohio CLE Institute, The Columbus Foundation and the National Business Institute. He serves on the Professional Council of The Columbus Foundation and the Advisory Board of the Conway Family Business Center of Central Ohio. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), the Columbus and Ohio State Bar Associations and the Society of Financial Service Professionals.
